South of England Show - Friday 11th - Sunday 13th June 2021

Showjumping will take place across all three days, under British Showjumping regulations, with classes from Senior 1m Open to International Stairway. We will also be holding scurry driving competitions on Saturday 12th June. Please read the Schedule here before you book as it contains important information relating to class rules, regulations and qualifiers

Showjumping Entries
Entries for 2021 are now closed.

The Equine Health Status Declaration form should be completed by the rider or owner of the horse and submitted to the venue 24 hours before arrival at the show. Failure to submit a declaration form before will result in the entry being forfeited and the horse will not be allowed on to the venue.

 

Stabling

Off site stabling is available to book via www.hicksteadschoolin.co.uk/book

  • Please select “Stabling for the south of England Show”.
  • Set “quantity” to the number of horses you are stabling.
  • If you require multiple nights, select your first night and click “Choose additional time”, then select your second night and click continue.

The stables are £45 per night including VAT.

Stables need to be booked and paid for to secure the stable, our cancellation notice is 7 days, if you cancel before this we will refund the full amount to you, less than 7 days and you will receive a XC schooling voucher for the same value.

The stables open at 1300 on the 10th of June

The stables will have a basic clean bed on a chalk base, if you require large banks or a deep base please bring supplementary shavings as we do not sell any on site. We do not allow straw.

Hook up, is now available to purchase on the website. The cost is £40 a socket for the weekend. There are 20 sockets available (1 socket per vehicle)

Please book asap, Once they are sold they are gone.

The power will be enough so that lorries can run lights, kettles, showers etc. However I ask that electric heaters are not used as this will cause the power to trip.

Please ensure you have plenty of cable to hook up, I recommend a minimum of 50m (2 cables).

Toilets and Showers will be open on site.

There is a service station in walking distance with Waitrose, Starbucks and Burger King available. There are no catering facilities on site.

There are no accommodation facilities on site.

Equine Influenza Vaccinations
Equine Influenza and Tetanus vaccinations are a compulsory requirement for all horses attending the South of England Show. The requirement for the first 3 vaccinations is as follows: the first 2 vaccinations 21 – 92 days apart, a third booster between 150-215 days, and an annual booster vaccination within 365 days thereafter. No horse should enter competitions within 7 days of an EI vaccination. This Rule may be subject to change from guidance from the FEI/BEF and any changes will be notified via the Showing Council and ASAO websites. The Show’s current ruling for this year only is that all horses have received an annual vaccination.

NB SPOT CHECKING OF PASSPORTS WILL TAKE PLACE OVER THE THREE DAYS
