Cookery Demonstrations

Meet the team from the wonderful ‘Ladies in Pigs’ who will be doing cookery demonstrations throughout the 3 days.

Casablanca Steps

Don’t miss the incredible performances from Casablanca Steps. Their unique sound and three-part vocal harmonies, combined with a quintessentially English visual element of serious tongue-in-cheek humour, recreates the authentic musical ambience of the 1920s & 30s, when “The Charleston” was all the rage and “The Swells” were “Putting on the Ritz”. They will be appearing at the band stand next to the Grape & Grain Walk at various intervals throughout the show.

Farriery Competition

Blacksmiths who specialise in forging shoes for horses are called Farriers – watch them deliver a range of live action demonstrations through their competitions and displays – don’t miss out on watching these guys in action!

South Eastern Vintage Agricultural Club

Be amazed by the tools that helped our farmers of the past including tractors, implements and farm machines. And this will be alongside some of the most up to date farm machinery on the market today.

Hadlow College Tractor Restoration

Students will be taking up the challenge to get a non-running tractor up and running by the end of the Show!

Young Farmers Clubs

The Young Farmers Clubs will be competing in Livestock judging as well as displaying the entries for their other competitions including a musical themed cube, a Queen’s Jubilee cake, recycled material sculpture and ‘Green Canopy’ photo. On Saturday their ‘Auctioneering’ competition starts at 1pm and their Tug-of-War competitions will be held in the cattle rings after the 3pm weigh in at the YFC stand, with prizes for each after the competition has ended. On Sunday stock judging starts at 8.30am including the South East Area Elminator for Stockman and Young Stock Judge of the Year with presentations at 4pm in the YFC building.
