Discover the history and traditions of the South East with our exciting heritage events, displays and demonstrations taking place across all three days of the Show.
Saxon, Viking & Medieval Zone
Come and see warriors of old with their weapons and armour, travelling blacksmiths and carpenters and even cooking demonstrations. This fascinating zone is jam-packed with fun, historical stands that the whole family is sure to love. There is also a daily timetable of battle re-enactments.

Weald & Downland Museum
Meet the team from this wonderful independent living museum, who have a collection of over 50 historic buildings from the Saxon era to the early 20th century. As part of their work to demonstrate and share skills, crafts, and stories of rural life in the South East, they’ll be doing demonstrations of a range of traditional trades.

British Army
The British Army will be talking to visitors about the many aspects of the work that they do and putting on a number of exciting displays including a climbing wall, vehicles, and a band.
