Spring Live!

26th, 27th April 2025

Featuring live and interactive entertainment, a plethora of shopping stalls, a food hall, and mouth-watering artisan treats from independent producers, Spring Live! is a must-attend event of the season.

There are plenty of activities for younger visitors to get involved with, including the opportunity to meet a variety of farm animals, participate in chocolate and circus skills workshops, have a go at wand making, bushcraft and experience the thrill of the funfair.

What’s more, with the Alpaca Show, Pygmy Goat Show, lawn mower racing, Morris dancing, a dog show, archery and axe throwing also on the agenda – it really is a great chance to get the whole family together, including the four-legged members, get outside and celebrate the arrival of spring.

Our Ardingly spring show takes place predominantly outside, and there are many large grassy areas. Please check the weather forecast before the day and dress appropriately. Wellies are advisable in the event of rain. If it is warm and sunny, please remember to bring sun block and plenty of water.

Many of the attractions and events at Spring Live! are included in your ticket price. Live entertainment, animal encounters, demonstrations and many ‘have a go’ activities are free of charge once you are inside the venue. Additional charges apply for fairground rides and certain activities, but please note that these will vary from show to show. Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic, or purchase food and drink from our street food market to eat at the show.

The parking at the showground is free with paved Blue Badge areas close to the show entrances. Parking is on grass and the ground can be uneven – please take care.

Yes, Spring Live! is a dog friendly event although dogs will not be admitted to indoor areas. We ask that dogs are kept on leads. In the event of warm weather, please do not leave your dog in your car.

Please check our visitor information page for more details.

We are always looking for volunteer stewards to help make sure our shows are safe, enjoyable and support agricultural education and countryside learning.  Email volunteer@seas.org.uk or call 01444 892700 for more information.
