Country Sports
You won’t want to miss the country sports at the South of England Show. Visitors will be able to watch a variety of exciting displays and competitions including the South of England Hound Show, falconry displays and have a go at flycasting.
Country Sports Ring
On Sunday in the Hound Ring you can see a fantastic range of country sports displays including gundogs, falconry, working dogs, foxhound packs, long dogs, fishing demos, ferrets and more!

Across the show there will also be stands at the Hound Ring including working Teckels, Bodles Angling, West Sussex Warreners, the Sussex Longdog Association and the British Association for Shooting & Conservation.

The South of England Hound Show
The South of England Hound Show is the first in the calendar of five Hound Shows held in the UK, located near Blue Gate and has its own arena. Friday is Foxhound Day and Saturday is Beagle Day with packs coming from all over southern England. Come and meet the Hunt Staff, watch hounds being judged and visit the kennels. Everybody is very welcome to come along and talk to staff to learn about the importance of hound breeding and judging.

Flycasting
Come and learn about fly fishing, an angling method where an artificial fly is used to catch fish. Have a go at casting with the Cinder Hill Trouting Syndicate, and the Fly Dressers Build can show you how to tie the intricate flies.
