Why become a member?

With a rich heritage dating back to the 1830s, the South of England Agricultural Society promotes the interests, development and sustenance of land-based industries and rural communities across the region.

Your membership ensures that we can continue to fund and support our work promoting the knowledge and understanding of countryside matters and develop the Society for generations to come.

It also provides you with a range of regular opportunities to engage with and enjoy the events, shows and activities that make living and working in the countryside so enjoyable and fulfilling.

Whatever the countryside means to you, whether it’s about food, farming, leisure, equestrianism, horticulture, learning or simple enjoyment, you can play your part by becoming an Annual, Term or Life Member.
