Bushcraft Workshops

New for 2019, Blackland Farm, Sussex will be providing bushcraft workshops every half an hour throughout the weekend with all ages able to take part and learn about wilderness survival skills.  Activities include firelighting using different methods (depending on age and experience), discovering how to use knives, saws and axes and having a go at whittling, and shelter building.  Workshops will cost from just £2 per person.

Student Assignment Awards

The Society’s Student Assignment Competition is open to students on higher and further education course at land-based colleges and is designed to encourage individual research to improve knowledge and develop study skills. Awards are given to the top three submissions in each category at a prize giving ceremony on Sunday 6th October.
