Spring into life this bank holiday!
A truly rural Garden & Leisure show with something for all the family
Spring is just around the corner at the Showground with our annual Spring Garden & Leisure Show on Sunday 4th and Bank Holiday Monday 5th May.
Introducing the latest retro-fashion in gardening, a Victorian-style ‘Stumpery’ will be the horticultural centrepiece of the Show, made from uprooted tree trunks planted with flowers and Jean Griffin, BBC Surrey, Sussex and Kent resident gardening expert, will lead an exciting programme of Q&A sessions with other gardening experts and floristry displays in the Gardening Theatre.
We are hoping for a bumper crop of trade, gift and craft stands this year as well as some mouth-watering treats on offer from the fabulous Food Hall.
Other highlights include: the Crufts qualifying South of England Agricultural Society Open Dog Show with over 700 entries; the famous South East Regional Alpaca Show; live poultry talks and the fur, feather & rabbit shows; the ever popular ‘Mini Sheep Show’, ‘Access the Countryside’ and a special children’s trail that takes them on a journey all round the Showground.
