Flower Displays

Green fingered garden lovers are in for a treat at this year’s Show. The Horticultural Marquee will be a haven of scents and sights - nurseries from all over the country will be exhibiting a vast range of beautiful plants from clematis’, lilies, hydrangeas, fuchsias, alliums and roses to grasses, rock garden plants, and bonsai trees.

Shopping Bargains

Make the most of relaxed shopping at the Show’s trade stands, with over 1300 stalls selling a huge range of goods, including country clothing, homewares and DIY.

Children's Interests

Children just love the South of England Show. Not only is a visit fabulous fun; it’s highly educational too, with scores of interactive attractions.

A firm favourite is the Fur & Feather marquee, where children can get up close and personal with small pets, farmyard animals and birds.

Not forgetting the Fun Fair and the ice creams!

Crafts and Gifts

There will be an irresistible array of crafts, gifts and bargains at this year’s Show. From homemade preserves and pottery to handcrafted jewellery, dolls houses and stained glass. Visit the WI Marquee and be amazed at the array of skills - the theme this year is Fun and Frolics.

Young Craftsman of the Year

For over 20 years the Young Craftsman of the Year competition has nurtured talent and acted as a launch pad for careers in craftsmanship, design and technology. Unfailingly, judges and show-goers are bowled over by the quality of work created by youngsters aged 14-21 from across the region. Picture shows 18 year old Tony Palmer (2009 winner) receiving his award from Chairman, Mr Brian Williams.
