BUMPER LINE UP FOR AUTUMN SHOW & GAME FAIR - 02/10/2010

Following the success of the South of England Show, preparations are well underway for the Agricultural Society’s next big event. Organisers hope many will return for the Autumn Show & Game Fair which takes place at the South of England Centre on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 October.
The event is an opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of the countryside at harvest time, with country sports, crafts, falconry, a dog agility show, vintage machinery, mouthwatering local food and drink, stunning displays of seasonal flowers and vegetables, a fair and a wealth of trade stands for relaxed shopping.
Back for the fifth consecutive year is the Clay Shoot organized by Dan Kerwood of Northall Clay Pigeon Club at Fletching. The interest in the clay shoot is growing year on year and its inclusion at the Show gives families the ideal environment in which to shop and shoot!

Deborah Barber, Director of the South of England Agricultural Society, said: “Autumn may seem a long way off, but the planning for our shows goes on all year round.”
“The Autumn Show & Game Fair is a great day out in the heart of the Sussex countryside. It is a real seasonal celebration, with something for everyone - and this year’s Show promises to offer country entertainment for the whole family.”
The Show is held at the South of England Centre, Ardingly, near Haywards Heath, West Sussex, and is open from 9am to 5pm each day. Tickets cost £7 for adults, £5 for students and senior citizens, £3 for children under 16 and £15 for a family ticket (two adults and two children).
