FESTIVE FAYRE MAKES MERRY MOOD FOR SHOPPERS - 06/12/2009
The annual Festive Food and Drink Fayre held in the Norfolk Pavilion at the South of England Centre last weekend ended the Society’s calendar of events with an attendance of almost 4000 visitors.
Christmas shoppers enjoyed a feast of seasonal treats and trade exhibitors were delighted with the brisk business during the two days, with some exhibitors completely sold out by the end of the show.
To everyone’s delight The Salvation Army Band heralded the arrival of Christmas from the Norfolk Pavilion, leaving visitors feeling festive and harmonious.
Director of the South of England Agricultural Society, Deborah Barber said: “Once again we have had a good attendance and this is a fitting upbeat end to our show season – the atmosphere was happy, festive and the perfect start to the Christmas season. We are eternally grateful to our members, the general public and exhibitors who continue to give such positive support for all our events and initiatives. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our shows in the next decade.”
