Festive Food Fayre - post event release - 09/12/2008

The annual Festive Food & Drink Fayre held in the Norfolk Pavilion at the South of England Centre last weekend ended the Society’s calendar of events with an attendance of 4045 visitors – up from 3790 last year.

Both days were crisp and sunny, which enticed Christmas shoppers to enjoy a feast of seasonal treats. Trade exhibitors were delighted with the brisk business during the two days.

Director of the South of England Agricultural Society, Deborah Barber said: “Once again we have had a good attendance and this is a fitting upbeat end to our show season. Over the weekend the atmosphere was happy, festive and the perfect start to Christmas. As always, we are grateful to our members, the general public and exhibitors who continue to give such positive support for all our events and initiatives. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our shows in 2009.”
