Together Internationally
The unique International Farmlink Scheme run by the South of England Agricultural Society, (formerly Eurolink) has been responsible over the past 20 years for sending over 200 farming couples on exchange visits to Europe, fostering understanding and good relationships with our friends across the Channel. The scheme has now been expanded and updated to encompass the current situation of the agricultural industry and requests to expand internationally.
In future, participants (referred to as Agricolae) will be provided with an opportunity as individuals, or groups, to study a specific aspect relevant to their business, topics may cover a wide variety of matters relating to Agriculture, Forestry, Viticulture, Horticulture, Estate Management, Land-based tourism, Smallholdings, Equipment supply and Fisheries.
The scope of this successful and unique Scheme has now been widened internationally.
Participants may now benefit from support as an individual or group to visit another country to further their knowledge of agricultural related industries or exchange for up to a week with their International counterparts at a mutually agreed time during the same twelve-month period. On return from overseas visits participants are required to produce a report which will be added to the library and will be available to prospective participants, students and sponsors.
