Together Internationally
International Farmlink
The unique International Farmlink Scheme is funded by the South of England Agricultural Society and administered by the International Farmlink Committee (formerly Eurolink). Over the past 30 years the committee has been responsible for sending over 200 farming couples and a number of groups on exchange visits and study tours fostering understanding and good relationships with our friends through the world.
Participants (referred to as Agricolae) are provided with an opportunity as individuals, couples or groups to study a specific aspect relevant to their current or future land based enterprise. Topics may cover a wide variety of matters relating to agriculture, forestry, viticulture, horticulture, estate management, land-based tourism, smallholdings, equipment supply and fisheries. Reciprocal exchanges are encouraged but not a necessity; trips can also be one off study tours.
The International Farmlink committee members are from both public and private sector backgrounds primarily in rural sectors including farmers and growers and previous beneficiaries of the scheme.
The International Farmlink Committee also welcome you to join them for refreshments at the International Pavilion at the Society’s Annual Show in June each year, where advice and help about the Scheme is readily available, as will be committee members and previous beneficiaries of the scheme.
