This is a special day in July to which schools are invited to bring their year 5 and 6 pupils. The day which is free to schools encourages the children to think about where their food comes from and the processes involved in getting food from the field to the table. It is also an opportunity to meet a range of animals, taste a variety of foods and generally engage in many practical and hands on activities.
